What does the Workshop contain?

People hold beliefs to represent their way of perceiving how the world 'is', and how it 'works' in order for them to 'function' and to act out their life. Sometimes a belief that might have worked for them in the past, may no longer have appropriateness and thus, effect their function and identity where the world has changed, or, they have changed and the world has not. People act as if a belief is true whether or not it helps them - or is 'really' true.

But what if the belief could be updated conversationally to serve them once again?

This workshop delves into the secrets of the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) model known as Sleight of Mouth and/or Mindlines. It is for people who want: a comprehensive understanding of the structures underpinning the many patterns, a way of remembering them and the ability to use them conversationally with customers and clients; family and colleagues; either at home or at work.

Sleight of Mouth: Robert Dilts originally modelled a set of language patterns derived from observing and listening to Richard Bandler during a seminar in which Richard demonstrated 'conversational gymnastics' with a group of delegates challenging his seemingly rigid belief system.

Mindlines: Michael L Hall updated them and adding more patterns to the set.

Belief patterns: The trainer's generic name for the above because NLP probably doesn't need any more jargon!

What does the Workshop cover?

The two day workshop contains:

  • Introduction of the concept of the 'Perfect Sentence'.

  • Deletions, Distortions and Generalisations revisited.

  • Explore the different characteristics of types of pattern and each pattern in detail.

  • How to construct the 'magic' of change within each pattern.

  • Thought Viruses and Innoculation patterns.

  • New patterns.

  • Course notes.

  • Opportunity to practice and ask questions.
